Host Bar Service
When the client or organization hosts the bar service Brio will handle all arrangements and charge based on the number of
beverages consumed. This total dollar value will be transferred directly to the invoice. There will be a bartender charge of
$15.00 per hour for a minimum 3 hours when net bar sales do not exceed $250.00

Cash Bar
The client or organization is not hosting the bar service and wishes Brio to set-up and operate a cash bar. Guests of the
function will pay on an individual basis for their drinks. There will be a bartender charge of $15.00 per hour for a minimum
3 hours when net bar sales do not exceed $250.00.

All bar service includes the finest quality mixes and garnishes including: Clamato juice, tomato juice, orange juice, Coke (soft drink) products, fruit garnishes, spices, napkins, cocktail sticks, glassware and ice.

Corkage Bar
(Minimum 50 guests)

Brio is happy to offer you the option of bringing in your own liquor, wine, beer and liqueurs provided the proper occasional permit has been issued by the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission. All M.L.C.C. regulations must be followed. Brio reserves the right to refuse liquor service if any of the M.L.C.C. regulations are not adhered to. In addition to providing bartender(s), Brio will also provide the same bar condiments & mixes as outlined under the Host/Cash Bar headings.

ALL CORKAGE BARS ARE SUBJECT TO PST, GST AND A 15% PRE-TAX GRATUITY SUMMARY OF REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO CORKAGE BARS

The client must obtain an occasional permit from the M.L.C.C. - stating the number of guests in attendance.The permit holder must be in attendance from the opening to the closing of the bars. The permit must be given to the banquet manager or captain on duty before any liquor service can begin. No person under the age of eighteen (18) is permitted to consume alcohol during the function (even when accompanied by a parent, guardian or spouse) in accordance with the Manitoba Liquor Act. If the client intends to operate cash bars with their liquor, a resale permit must be obtained from the M.L.C.C. stating the liquor sale price. The permit holder is legally responsible for any and all guests. The permit holder must ensure their safety and can be held liable in the event of accident or injury.

Bar(s) will be open according to the time specified on the permit. Only the alcohol specifically stated on the permit may be consumed in the location stated on the permit.The M.L.C.C. will not permit a combination of Corkage and Cash or Host Bars, one of these distinct three types of bar must be selected for a function.
